Custom QR code generator

Make a QR code that looks like your brand: pick your colors, a fade to a second color, the shape of the dots and corners, and put your logo in the middle. Download it as PNG or SVG, free and without an account.

Every code starts with an icon that says what it is for. Add your logo to replace it; it stays in your browser, we never receive it.

Bigger prints sharper. 1000 px is good for print.

Free, no account, no watermark. What you type never leaves this page. Scan it with your phone before you print a batch.

    Static or dynamic QR code

Both are free to start. Pick the one that fits what you are printing.

How to make a custom QR code

    1. Type what it holds

Paste the link or fill in the tab you need. The code updates as you type, and the design panels below are already open.

    2. Style the code

Choose your brand colors, an optional gradient, the dot and corner shapes, and upload your logo. A warning appears if contrast is too low or the logo covers too much.

    3. Download and test

Pick a size up to 2000 px, download PNG or SVG, and scan the result with two or three different phones before you print a batch.

    Logo size and error correction

A QR code can lose part of its surface and still scan, thanks to error correction. When you add a logo, the generator uses the highest level and keeps the logo to a safe share of the width. A simple, high-contrast logo works best. Detailed logos with thin lines get lost at small sizes, so test the print.

    Colors that still scan

Scanners need a clear difference between the dots and the background, so dark on light is the safe choice. A light code on a dark background, or two similar colors, can fail on some phones, and the generator warns you about both. A gradient is fine when both colors are dark enough against the background.

    Dot and corner shapes

Square, rounded and circle dots, and three corner styles, change the personality of the code without changing what it holds. Rounded shapes look softer, and square ones are the most readable at small sizes. Keep the three big corner squares recognizable, because scanners use them to find the code.

    PNG or SVG for print

PNG is a picture at a fixed size, good for documents, screens and quick prints. SVG is a vector file that stays sharp at any size, so send it to a printer or designer for posters, stickers and packaging. If you are unsure, download both and keep the SVG.

Static or dynamic, and what it costs

This design is free in a static code, which holds your content itself and never expires. If you also want to change the link after printing and see scans, a dynamic QR code from a free URLHop account has design and SVG too, and the printed code stays the same.

    Custom QR code: questions

Is the custom QR code generator free?

Yes. Colors, gradient, shapes, logo, PNG and SVG are free, with no account, no e-mail and no watermark.

How do I put my logo in a QR code?

Open the Logo panel, choose a PNG, JPG, WebP or GIF image and it appears in the middle of the code. The generator raises the error correction to the highest level so the code still scans. Keep the logo simple and test it.

Why does my custom QR code not scan?

The usual causes are low contrast, a light code on a dark background, a logo that is too large, or a code printed too small. Check the warnings under the preview, use dark on light, and print at least 2 cm (0.8 in) wide.

Can I use my brand colors?

Yes, pick any colors with the color pickers. Choose a dark one for the code and a light one for the background. If your brand color is light, use a darker shade for the dots.

Does a custom QR code expire?

A static code does not expire, because the content is inside it. A dynamic URLHop code does not expire either. Design does not change that, only what the code holds does.

Want to change it after printing?

A static code is locked to what you typed. A dynamic one lets you change the link after printing and shows your scans, with the same design and SVG. It is free to start.
